We don't sell seconds, factory rejects or B-grade stock. We quality control every order before it ships, so you're paying half the price because we've cut out the middlemen, not because we've cut the quality.

Every tile you buy from a big retailer has been marked up three or four times before it reaches you - by the importer, the distributor, the warehouse, and the showroom with its rent and sales staff. We buy direct from the factory and ship direct to you, so there's only one margin instead of four. Same tile, half the price.

Every product page lists what the tile is rated for - floor, wall, internal, external and wet area suitability. As a quick guide: floor tiles can go on walls, but not every wall tile is strong enough for floors, and outdoor or pool areas need a slip-rated tile. If you're unsure about a specific tile for your job, send us the room and we'll point you to the right option.

Slip resistance is measured by an R-rating (R9 to R13) or a P-rating (P0 to P5) - the higher the number, the more grip. For internal dry floors most tiles are fine. For bathrooms, laundries and other wet areas you want a higher-rated tile, and for outdoors, pool surrounds and ramps you want higher again. The rating is listed on each product page so you can match it to your job and meet Australian standards.

Porcelain is denser, harder and absorbs less water, which makes it the go-to for floors, wet areas and outdoors. Ceramic is a bit softer and best kept to walls and lighter-use areas. Most of our range is porcelain - if a tile is ceramic, it'll say so on the product page.

Measure your room in m², then add 15% for cuts, waste and the spare box every tiler will ask for. Our calculator does this automatically and rounds up to whole boxes - it's safer to over-order slightly than come up short mid-job.

It varies by tile size and thickness, so the box quantity, coverage per box and box weight are all listed on each product page. As a rough guide a box of floor tiles usually weighs 20-30kg, which is worth knowing if you're moving them on site.
